We are having a glorious holiday at the beach, despite a bit of rain and clouds. The sun came out today which was nice. It has been pretty windy as well so haven't had as much time as we'd like at the beach, but today was a bit warmer and the sun even came out this arvo, so this morning after Tim and Dom went fishing (that is another story!) we had to have a splash in the surf.
Dom has been loving the water this year - it's amazing the difference a year makes. The other day he and Tim spent the best part of half an hour 'booffing' the waves.
It was so cold but that didn't worry him one bit! Today he was a bit more intent on pretending to be a motorbike riding up and down the beach (at least it took 5 days for the lifesavers bike to become a highlight again!). Tim dug a big hole that Heidi and Dom thought was great to jump into. Along the way they found a little crab, and Heidi had a bit of fun drawing on the sand. Hoping tomorrow will continue to brighten up a bit.
What a wonderful holiday! Looks like such fun. Thea asked when we were going to the beach with Dom and Heidi!
